Current collaborative research projects

Currently I participate in the following collaborative research projects on the national and international level:

FRANCE

Western Alps Mountain Building and Biodiversity

This project on the tectonics and exhumation of the Western Alps fund by LABEX. and is done in collaboration between members of the Tectonics Relief Basin team at ISTerre and the LECA at the University Grenoble Alpes.

COLOMBIA

Caguan Putumayo basin project

This project is in collaboration with the Servicio Geologico Colombiano at Bogota and the ANH. The Caguan Putumayo basin is located in southern Colombia and the objective of this project is to understand the sediment provenance and thermal history of this basin.

Floresta massif thermal history

The Floresta massif project is supported by a CNRS PICS grant and is on the thermal history of the Floresta massif in the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia.This project is done in collaboration with Prof. Carlos Zuluaga and Prof Carlos Vargas of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia at Bogota and Prof. Mauricio Bermudez of the UPTC at Sogamosa, as well as Prof. Barry Kohn of the University of Melbourne.

CHINA

Deformation Partitioning and Implication for Collisional Orogenic Mechanism of the Hannan-Micang Syntaxis

This project is in colllaboration with Prof. Dan-Ping Yan of the China University of Geosciences at Beijing and has been funded by the China NSF in 2019.

Stress-strain constraints for the propagation of the foreland thrust belts in the margins of the Sichuan Basin

This project is in colllaboration with Prof. Dan-Ping Yan of the China University of Geosciences at Beijing and has been funded by the China NSF in 2020.
