LThe Recosy project (Redox Phenomena Controlling systems) aims to study Redox phenomena and their long-term influence on the retention and transport of radionuclides in the context of radioactive waste storage. In particular, it aims to provide tools and models to integrate the results obtained into safety and performance analyses of geological storage in different types of rocks. This collaborative project is co-financed by the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development (EURATOM) of the European Commission for a period of 4 years (2008-2012). It includes 32 partners from the main European research institutes and universities in 13 EURATOM member countries in Russia, as well as a JRC.
